Sierra Pacific Expands Residential Design Possibilities with
New Architectural Wall System with Sloped Glazing

Sloped glazing offers dramatic use of expansive glass with sloped lines, while meeting today’s energy standards for heat loss and solar heat gain.

Red Bluff, CA (January 10, 2017) – Sierra Pacific Windows has expanded the design possibilities for the residential and light commercial markets with the introduction of its Architectural Wall System with sloped glazing. The dramatic sloped lines and expansive use of glass in these visually-striking systems are aesthetically beautiful, while meeting today's energy standards for heat loss and solar heat gain.

“The design possibilities are virtually limitless,” according to Sierra Pacific Vice President of Business Development and Customer Service Bob Taylor. “The sloped glazing technology allows builders and architects to push the design boundaries even further. Designers can make a bold statement by adding incredible views while adding more natural light to any residential or light commercial project.”

As contemporary design continues to trend higher, Sierra Pacific’s architectural wall systems are bringing new ideas to residential design. The trend-forward walls of glass with the squared lines of beams make an extraordinary design statement, while providing maximum daylight.

Sierra Pacific's architectural wall system is an engineering marvel with its all-wood interiors and, the vertical glazed systems provide load bearing structural integrity. The line is considered a distinctive upgrade over standard storefront glazing or aluminum curtain walls. In many cases, the system’s glue-laminated wood beams can even eliminate the need for steel beams.

The advanced, highly-engineered wall systems easily incorporate Sierra Pacific aluminum clad wood doors, operable windows, and structural corner units. The vertical glazed systems are tested to ASTM standards for air and water infiltration, as well as structural wind-load performance.

Sierra Pacific Architectural Wall Systems offers sophisticated glazing systems for both residential and commercial applications. ViewMax glazing is offered for vertical or sloped installations in several styles. It’s available with multiple glazing options that meet a .28 U-value or better, and has earned a DP 50 rating.
