Nestled at the mouth of the Santa Fe Canyon,
the Randall Davey Audubon Center encompasses 135 acres and includes
miles of hiking trails, a nature store, and the historic house
of artist Randall Davey. Acquired in 1983 from the Randall Davey
Foundation, it has become a state office, an environmental education
center, and a wildlife refuge for the National Audubon Society.
Sierra Pacific is
proud to have been chosen as the window supplier for this project.
With our proven track record of environmentally
responsible, sustainable forestry practices witnessed by the
third party certification of our forestlands under the Sustainable
Forestry
Initiative® (SFI) Program, we believe that our products are
the perfect match for the Audubon Center project.
We supplied
windows for both the remodel/addition of the existing office
building, as well as for the new construction of the children’s
classroom building. The product mix includes white clad casement
and fixed windows with simulated divided lites.
The mission of
the National Audubon Society is to conserve and restore natural
ecosystems,
focusing on birds, other wildlife,
and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's
biological diversity.
